Support Services
The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital offers two centers that provide support and service to anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. The Cancer Information Center is located at Barnes-Jewish Hospital south.

CIRCLE is located at Barnes-Jewish Hospital north. Both centers provide cancer information, emotional and community resources. Books and tapes may be purchased or checked out of the lending libraries. The centers are open on a walk-in basis.

If you are having a bone marrow or stem cell transplant and want to talk to someone who has already been through the experience, these centers have names and numbers of patients who are willing to provide emotional support and information sharing. You can also ask to talk to someone who was treated for the same disease for which you are being treated.
