After an initial consultation, including a review of all your medical records as well as a physical exam, the
transplant physicians will decide if you're eligible for a transplant. If you are, the physician will determine which type of transplant is best for you. Depending on a number of factors, if your physician decides that
you will receive your own bone marrow or stem cells, your transplant may be done in an outpatient setting. If your transplant is performed as an outpatient procedure, the same team of physicians and support
staff that cares for patients in the hospital will care for you at The Barnard Cancer Center. The Barnard Cancer Center is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Wohl Hospital, Barnes-Jewish Hospital south. |
